At Agri Service, Inc., we are dedicated to serving the environment from regional to individual levels by reducing landfill waste, creating beneficial soil amendments, remaining informed of the most up-to-date industry standards and sharing this knowledge with our customers and the community.

Agri Service, Inc.'s team of horticulture and soil experts combine sound management practices, quality customer care and the finest in technology to bring the numerous benefits of organic recycling to Southern California.

Agronomist and agricultural research specialist Mary Matava founded Agri Service, Inc. in 1994. Recognizing that traditional methods of green waste disposal such as open burning or landfilling are both inefficient and environmentally unsound, Agri Service set out to develop a recycling program which would put the material to good use at fees below those of landfills. The result is Oceanside's El Corazon, a landmark green waste compost facility authorized by the State of California's Integrated Waste Management Board.

Today, Agri Service operates facilities in the Coachella Valley and North San Diego County, processing more than 100,000 tons of green waste annually. The award-winning company's integrity is reflected in its successful efforts to match incoming flow with outgoing sales of mulch and soil amendment products, as well as through its educational/community outreach programs and active industry involvement.
